Terrell Winstead

President, Forestry, North America

Terrell Winstead serves as President, Forestry, North America for Molpus Woodlands Group, which has been a part of the Gresham House Group since June 2026.

Terrell has nearly four decades of experience in finance, timberland management and timberland investing. Since joining Molpus in 1987, he has served in several leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, before assuming the role of President of Molpus Woodlands Group in 2022. Terrell serves on the North American Executive Committee, Global Executive Committee and North American Investment Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO), serving on the finance committee.

Throughout his career, Terrell has played a leading role in the underwriting, and acquisition of more than four million acres of timberland investments across the United States.

Terrell began his career with The Molpus Company in 1987 as vice president of finance with responsibility for all administrative and financial functions of the company. With the launch of Molpus as a Timberland Investment Management Organization (TIMO), Terrell was instrumental in developing Molpus’s underlying timberland investment model. Prior to joining Molpus, Terrell was engaged in a public accounting practice in Jackson, Mississippi.

Terrell holds a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree and holds the CPA designation since 1985.
