David Johns

Operations Director, East Region

David Johns serves as Operations Director, East Region for Molpus Woodlands Group, which has been part of the Gresham House group since June 2026. He is responsible for client properties in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Before joining Molpus Woodlands group, he spent ten years as Vice-President and General Manager of Soterra, LLC, a subsidiary of Greif Inc., overseeing properties located in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi. David oversaw all operational and management functions and led a robust timber and nature-based solutions business.

David has over thirty-one years of experience in the forestry industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida. He is also a member of the Mississippi Forestry Association.
