Dick Kempka serves as Vice President – Conservation for Molpus Woodlands Group, which became part of Gresham House in June 2026. He brings more than 35 years of experience spanning forestry, wetlands conservation, energy, technology, and environmental markets.

Dick has experience in sustainability initiatives, forest carbon, carbon capture and storage, solar energy, conservation easements, timberland and grassland management, wetlands mitigation, acquisitions, and ecological asset transactions.

Prior to joining Molpus, Dick served as Chief Commercial Officer for The Climate Trust, where he supported conservation finance strategies that advance environmental outcomes. He also served as Vice President of Environment for Equator LLC, an asset management firm that managed a $50 million fund focused on generating and managing high-quality carbon credits and environmental assets. Earlier in his career, he led the Ecological Asset Program and served as Director of Energy and Technology Partnerships for Ducks Unlimited, a leading North American wetlands conservation organization.

He currently serves on Ducks Unlimited’s Sustainability Committee, which reports to the organization’s president. Dick has authored more than 20 professional publications and is an accomplished speaker who has participated in numerous environmental, carbon market, and industry forums.

Kempka earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Remote Sensing from Carroll University and a master’s degree in Geography and Remote Sensing from Indiana State University.
