Box 5236Bossier City, LA 71171Employee TypeNon-ExemptCategoryAdministrative Position Summary The purpose of this position is to provide support to the MWG management team in the areas of accounting, personnel and general office administration. Essential Functions Process/distribute daily mail both incoming and outgoing.Maintain/update timber harvest data base and filing system in a timely manner. This requires interaction with MWG field staff and customers to ensure timely reconciling of harvest records and settlements. Verification and input of settlements and tickets into MWG’s Timber Manager System.Interaction with customer representatives, internal accountants and auditors to resolve settlement issues as needed.Develop/provide harvest related information for all external reporting activities.Ensure/maintain office, office supplies, business machines, telephone systems and computer network. Communicate with service contractors as needed.Develop, distribute and maintain contracts as identified by the foresters. Maintain insurance compliance for all contracts both current and correct.Maintain hunting lease program leasing compliance and payments collected on an annual basis.Maintain/validate property tax accounts and records to insure timely payment of all taxes. Education, Experience, and Skills Required High School graduate with business/clerical training.Proficiency with common business computer software that may include spreadsheet, word-processing and presentation software.
