Shane Lee
Mr. Lee is a Forest Biometrician with Molpus Timberlands Management, LLC. His duties in this role include inventory processing, growth and yield modeling, tree volume and weight prediction, silvicultural response modeling and statistical analysis.
Mr. Lee is a graduate of Mississippi State University (MSU) with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Forestry. His graduate work in tree volume and weight prediction has been featured on the MSU Extension and Outreach web site. Prior to his employment with Molpus, Mr. Lee worked for Plum Creek Timber Company as a Resource Forester in the Taylorsville District based out of their Richton, Mississippi office. In this role, he managed all of the silvicultural activities, including site preparation, planting and thinning, on a 117,000 acre land base. Before joining Plum Creek, he was a consulting forester with Woodland Services in Philadelphia, Mississippi for three years.
