Mark James
Mr. James is the Property Manager for over 205,000 acres of client timberland ownership located in New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. Responsibilities include all management operations affecting the properties including marketing, harvesting, silviculture, lease management and others. Mr. James has been with Molpus Timberlands Management since early 2000 and was previously a Division Forester managing a 95,000 acre property located in Southwest Louisiana. During this period, Mr. James coordinated numerous land sales gaining valuable real estate marketing experience.
Prior to joining Molpus Timberlands Management, Mr. James worked with a well known regional forestry consultant firm managing lands in Northeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. Prior to these management assignments, Mr. James coordinated and managed acquisition inventory projects throughout the southeastern US for this same consultant firm. Mr. James began his career with several years of timber procurement experience in Florida with a well-known large corporation. Mr. James received his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and Wildlife from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1986 and currently holds real estate licenses in Kentucky, Tennessee and Louisiana.
