Mark James
Mr. James is the Property Manager for over 205,000 acres of client timberland ownership located in New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. His responsibilities include all management operations affecting the properties including marketing, harvesting, silviculture, lease management and others. Mr. James has been with Molpus Timberlands Management since early 2000 and was previously a Division Forester managing a 95,000 acre property located in Southwest Louisiana. During this period, Mr. James coordinated numerous land sales gaining valuable real estate marketing experience. He currently holds real estate licenses in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Louisiana.
Prior to joining Molpus Timberlands Management, Mr. James worked with Canal Forest Resources coordinating and managing acquisition inventory projects throughout the southeastern US and then later managing timberlands in northeast Texas and southeast Louisiana. Prior to employment with Canal Forest Products, Mr. James worked with Georgia-Pacific in timber procurement. Mr. James received his bachelor of science degree in Forestry and Wildlife from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1986.
