E. Perry Willis
Mr. Willis is currently Property Manager for Molpus Timberlands Management, LLC. In this role, he has operational and acquisition related responsibilities within the Pickwick region, more specifically described as Northeast Mississippi, Northwest Alabama, and Southwest Tennessee. Mr. Willis first joined The Molpus Company for a five year stint in 1976 as Quality and Safety Supervisor of the company’s Morton, Mississippi, sawmill operation. He returned to the company and joined Molpus Timberlands Management in 2002 as a Division Forester, responsible for marketing and harvesting timber products on the properties managed out of the Lufkin, Texas, office. In 2004, he was promoted to Property Manager, responsible for all operations on timberlands managed by the company in east central Texas. In 2007, he accepted the position of Acquisitions Manager for the Molpus Woodlands Group. In this role, he worked with the acquisition team to identify, evaluate, and eventually purchase timberland properties in the mid-South. Mr. Willis, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University and did graduate work in Business Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi, is a current member of the Texas Forest Association. He has also served on the executive committee for the Southern Forest Products Association and as a Director of the Hardwood Manufacturer’s Association.
